Are online store customers and fundraising donors added to the contact database?

Shoppers in your Givebacks store and donors from your Givebacks fundraisers are automatically added to your contact list. If they were not already in your contact database, their email status may be 'Pending' instead of 'Opted into Email'.

Good to know: When sending communications, using the 'Send to Everyone' option will exclude Customers and Donors if they are not subscribed to emails. You can add them as a contact to change their email status from 'Pending' to 'Opted into Email', which will include them in communications sent to the entire organization.
