User Permissions and Roles

For your officers or volunteers who need access to manage your Givebacks site, you can assign Admin Roles. These are managed under My Organization, then Manage Access.

For full admin access, assign the role of Admin.

For limited access, assign the Custom role and select the appropriate access.

  • Store Products View: Access to Store > Products page and Members > Membership Products to view only. Also able to view categories and bundles.

  • Store Products Edit: Access to Store > Products and Members > Membership Products to edit existing items, categories, and bundles, adjust visibility, and create new items.

  • Fundraisers View: Access to the Fundraisers section of the menu, allowing you to view all pages. Does not allow you to edit a fundraiser unless the user already has admin access within the fundraiser and uses the same email address.

  • Fundraisers Edit: Access to the Fundraisers section of the menu, with the ability to edit and create new campaigns and change product fundraiser items.

  • Assign Account Codes Edit: Allows the user to edit account codes for products and membership products.

  • Financial Management Orders View: Access to Store > Ordered Items and Financial Management > Orders to view incoming orders. The Orders View will not allow the added person to refund orders or mark them fulfilled. Orders View also grants permission to see the Payouts page.

  • Financial Management Orders Edit: Access to Store > Ordered Items and Financial Management > Orders to edit any incoming orders - this includes permissions to refund, mark fulfilled, and add notes.

  • Contacts View: Access to view Contacts > All Contacts, Properties and Lists but not edit.

  • Contacts Edit: Access to view and edit Contacts > All Contacts, Properties, and Lists.

  • Communications View: Access to view Communications > Messages and Files. Does not allow editing, only viewing access.

  • Communications Edit: Access to view Communications > Messages and Files. This also allows user to send create and send new messages and upload new files.

  • Compliance View: Access to the Compliance section on the menu, to view all submissions and documents.

  • Compliance Edit: Access to the Compliance section on the menu to submit and archive submissions and documents.

  • Point of Sale (POS) Settings Allow: Allows the user to edit the POS Settings within the site under Mobile POS > POS Settings

  • Point of Sale (POS) Sell Items Allow: Allows the user to sell items on the Givebacks POS app without having full admin access to the site.

  • Point of Sale (POS) Orders View: Allows the user access to view POS orders in the Givebacks POS app.

  • Point of Sale (POS) Orders Refund: Allows the user to refund POS orders in the Givebacks POS app.

  • Point of Sale (POS) Scan Tickets Allow: Allows the user to scan tickets in the Givebacks POS app.
