How can I view all of the people who have chosen to support my cause?

The causes side of Shop to Give provides lots of cool ways to see statistical data about your Backers, a.k.a. the people who have chosen to support your cause. You can view this information from some quick stats shared on the dashboard of your causes.givebacks.com account or via your backer tracker. Your backer tracker will show you a more specific list of everyone who is supporting your cause - similar to a contacts list.

You can see backer data in 2 places:

On the Dashboard

Visit the Dashboard on the top left menu.

Once you are on the Dashboard, there are a few areas to view information on your backers.

To start, you can choose a date range using this dropdown on the upper right.

This allows you to view data only from a specific date range, helping to make your reporting and bookkeeping a breeze.

Next let's look at this top section.

View this top section to see at a glance your organization's total number of:

Total Supporting Backers - the total number of people who have chosen your cause to support.

Backers Active - the total number of people who have made purchases/redeemed offers.

Desktop Extension - the total number of backers who have installed the chrome extension.

Mobile Extension - the total number of backers who have installed the mobile extension.

Cards Linked - the total number of backers with a linked card set up on their Shop to Give account.

Purchase - the total percentage of backers who have made a purchase/redeemed an offer.

Under the top section you will see a section called Most Recent Backers

This box shows you all of your most recent backers, including their:

Backer Name
Sign Up - the date on which your backer signed up
Email Address - the email address used on the Shop to Give account of your backer.

You can also use the handy link on the upper right to go to the Backer Tracker from the Most Recent Backers box section.

On the Right, you can click on the purple Research your Backers button

This is another handy way to jump to your Backer Tracker.

On the Backer Tracker

Start by going to Backer Tracker on the bottom of the menu on the left.

From the Backer Tracker, there are a few places to see important information on your backers.

Similar to the Dashboard, the backer tracker also has the top bar of stats:

This shows you your organization's total number of:

Total Supporting Backers - the total number of people who have chosen your cause to support.

Backers Active - the total number of people who have made purchases/redeemed offers.

Desktop Extension - the total number of backers who have installed the chrome extension.

Mobile Extension - the total number of backers who have installed the mobile extension.

Cards Linked - the total number of backers with a linked card setup on their Shop to Give account.

Purchase - the total percentage of backers who have made a purchase/redeemed an offer.

On the next section, you can first pick your data range.

This lets you choose the date range the data below will appear for.

Below the date box is the Backer Directory.

This allows you to see the most comprehensive list of your backers. Including information such as the backer's:

User Name - Your backer's user names on their Shop to Give account.
Joined - The date your backer joined Shop to Give.
Purchases - Information for the purchases your backer has made such as merchant name and amount. This helps you to determine common trends, such as popular offers and amounts spent.
Amount Raised - How much this backer has earned for your cause.
Extensions - Lets you know if this backer uses the Desktop or Mobile Extension.
Cards on File - Shows you how many cards your backer has linked.
Referral Signups - The number of people referred by this backer who have signed up and decided to also support your cause.
Address - The address of your backer.
Zip Code - The zip code of your backer.
Backer No. - The number assigned to the backer by Shop to Give. Handy for reporting purposes.

You can search the Backer Directory

Click this search glass icon to search the backer directory by a backer's email address, user name, backer number, etc. to find a specific backer.

You can export the Backer Directory

Click this download button to export your backer directory, to have a copy in excel spreadsheet format.
