You can change the subdomain of your Givebacks site, but it is recommended that you do so before sharing any links. Changing the subdomain changes the site address, which will cause links to the old address in emails or other webpages to break.
The site address is a custom web address for your organization where people can log in to your Givebacks site. The full address for your site is the subdomain, followed by .givebacks.com, e.g., subdomain.givebacks.com. It is helpful to use a subdomain that is recognizable to your supporters.
Changing the subdomain
1. From the toolbar, select My Organization, then Info & Settings.
2. In the Basic Information section, enter the new subdomain.
3. The URL for your site will change instantly so you will need to update the URL for the page you are accessing once you refresh. You may need to log back in and reselect your organization.
Note: The links to your Givebacks site, your online store, and Givebacks fundraisers will change. It is best to update your subdomain before sharing links to your pages.
