Are you transitioning your organization's officers? Make sure you also transfer your Stripe account ownership. You can transfer the Stripe account by viewing your Stripe express dashboard then going to your Profile icon > Platform settings > Management and Ownership and update the information to be the new officer's. If you can't work with the new officer directly to update this, you can add their email address to the team members section further down, and they can log in themselves to complete this. More detailed steps can be found below.
Please note: The easiest way to transfer your Stripe account is to sit down with your current Stripe account holder and the new officer taking over either in person, via phone or Zoom and work together to do so. The current Stripe account holder is likely the current President or Treasurer of your organization. You can find out what email address is listed as the current Stripe account holder by going to Store Management > Edit Store Settings. In the box under Stripe Accounts will be an email address. This is the email address listed as the current owner on your Stripe account. If you do not know who this email address belongs to, please contact us at Givebacks Support.
If you are the current Stripe Account Holder, are you able to work with your new officer either in person, via phone or via Zoom to update this information?
If Yes--> Please follow these steps: Transitioning your Stripe Account, Updating Management and Ownership
If No --> Please follow these steps: Transitioning your Stripe Account, Using Team Members
