Are you having a hard time using Givebacks on your device or earning cashback?
There are a few common browser and software settings that might be the cause. These include Cookies Ad blocking software and content blockers, please make sure anything that might be blocking Givebacks is turned off. Another common issue is using another rewards network. Please remove other rewards networks when using Givebacks. More details on these troubleshooting ideas are located below.

There are a few common browsing methods that might restrict your viewing/earning with Givebacks due to Cookies. If you are using any of these methods, please make sure you have cookies enabled.
If you are using some of the more common anti-virus or firewall blockers such as Norton Internet Security, please go into your settings for this software and choose to allow ads or turn off any ad-blocking features.
Are you currently browsing in incognito mode? Please switch to a regular viewing session. Using incognito or private browsing mode may mean that the Genie can't work his magic with your merchant to be able to give you your cashback.
Some VPN's may not work with the Genie and may block you from receiving your cashback for that purchase or merchant. As such, we suggest disabling any VPN's while using Givebacks.
Ad Blocking Software
If you are using an ad-blocking software such as AdBlock, we suggest turning this off while you complete your purchase with Givebacks, as it may prevent the Genie from giving you your cashback. Once you have completed your purchase you can turn it back on.
Mobile Device Content Blockers
Sometimes your mobile device might block the Genie's magic if you have a content blocker turned on. The easiest way to make sure this does not happen is to just shop through the Givebacks Mobile App when on your mobile device.
However you can also turn off content blockers on your iOS device by going to your settings > safari > content blockers > turn off. Once you have done this, please start your shopping over and you should be all set.
Other Coupon and Reward Browser Extensions
Are you using a similar extension to Givebacks that also offers you coupons, cashback or rewards? Having another similar extension installed could mean that the Genie can't work its magic or that your cashback/credit for the purchase goes to the other extension and not through Givebacks. If the purchase does not go through Givebacks, you and your cause won't get your cashback. We suggest turning off these other extensions to be sure you (and your cause) get your cashback from Givebacks.
Merchant's sites that prevent tracking
While most major retailers have adjusted this, so that their site does not prevent tracking, you may encounter a merchant's site that does. Any merchant's site that prevents tracking, means that you will not get your cashback. The Genie's magic relies on being able to track your purchase so that we can get your cashback to you and your cause.
If you have started your purchase by claiming the offer on the Givebacks website or app, we will notify you if tracking is disabling and causing this. The easiest way to resolve it would be to try from the opposite interface. If you are on the App use the browser, if you are on the browser use the Givebacks Mobile app.
Inactive Givebacks Chrome Extension
In may be possible that your Givebacks Chrome extension is inactive and, therefore, preventing you from getting your cashback. If its not pinned to the tool bar on the top right, it might be inactive.
Click on the puzzle piece on the top right to view your extensions. If next to Givebacks, the thumbtack icon is not lit up, click the thumbtack to pin it to your tool bar.
If Givebacks does not appear in this list, please click Manage extensions and look for Givebacks. Make sure this blue radio button is turned on.
