Why can't I use the same email address for two people?

In Givebacks, as with most other online apps, an email address can be associated with only one person/profile because it is a unique identifier for that person.

Student memberships do not require an email address, and student email addresses are not saved in Givebacks.

When entering memberships, if you need to add non-student members and do not have a second email address, you can enter one member using only a phone number. However, please note that this will prevent this person from logging in to Givebacks under their own profile.

If you do not have a phone number for the second person, you can enter it using a made-up number or "dummy" information. Please use a valid area code followed by a made-up number.
