Manually entered memberships will receive an electronic receipt (if selected). PTA members will have a link to download their membership card, which will also be available in the Givebacks app. Imported members will not be notified.
βIf the membership is imported into Givebacks, then Givebacks will not notify them. The reason is that everyone handles new-member communications differently. For example, if you imported a large email list, you would not want the system to notify everyone until you have had a chance to explain Givebacks and how your PTA will be using it.
If the Membership Chair wants to notify those they have added, they can send a customized welcome message to the new members once they are entered. For more information on sending a message, see How do you send quick simple messages?
