What permissions are required to check in ticket holders?

Admins can use the Givebacks Point of Sale to check in ticket holders. Custom admin permissions can be set to allow limited admin access to the Point of Sale app.

Custom Admin Access for Point of Sale

  1. From the toolbar, select My Organization, then Manage Access.

  2. Click the New Admin button.

  3. Enter the Admin's name and email address.

  4. Select Custom permissions.

  5. Check the boxes next to the desired level of access.

    • POS Settings Allow: Allows access and edit permissions for managing POS Settings. These settings are located under Mobile POS > POS Settings and include payment settings, processing fees, and checkout and order settings.

    • Sell Items Allow: Ability to sell items in person using the Point of Sale.

    • POS Orders View: Allows viewing orders but not refunding them.

    • POS Orders Refund: Allows the ability to view and refund orders.

    • Scan Tickets: Allows the ability to scan tickets using the Point of Sale app.
