Immediate check-in after purchase

In the Givebacks POS app, tickets for a same-day event are immediately redeemable. After the order is completed, the POS operator is prompted to check in eligible tickets right away so attendees can be checked in at the point of sale without using a separate check-in flow.

A ticket is considered redeemable when the event date matches the current date. When this happens, the POS app displays a check-in prompt immediately after checkout.

  1. Select the appropriate ticketed event in the POS app and add the desired tickets to the cart.

  2. Complete the normal checkout process.

  3. When the check-in prompt appears, click Yes, Check In.

  4. After the check-in is processed, a success message confirms the action.

If a ticket was checked in by mistake, the POS operator can reverse the action by clicking Undo Check In in the confirmation area.

You can also mark a ticket as unused from the ticket scanning area:

  1. Go to Scan Tickets and select the event.

  2. Find the ticket that should not be checked in, then click Mark Unused next to that ticket.
