Givebacks (formerly MemberHub) does not recommend embedding videos in email messages or newsletters as the ability to view embedded content is dependent on whether the recipients' email client can support the video. However, you can still share videos in your email messages by inserting a still image of the video and creating a link. To follow this tutorial, you will want to host your video someplace like Youtube or on google drive. You will need the sharing links from one of these sites directly to your video to follow this guide.
The first step will be to add an image.
Pro Tip: Use a screenshot of the video or the video's thumbnail.
After you have added your image to your message/newsletter, scroll down on the right-hand side of your screen. You will see an action box when you have the image selected. Under this action box is a space for a url. Enter the URL you want the video to link to into this box.
Don't forget to hit next and when done, save at the top of the screen.
In the sent email, users will be able to click on the Image to Open/view the video.
