✎ Thank you for your patience as we update Help Center articles to reflect recent changes to the main navigation.

You might encounter a few common issues when trying to log in. You may need to reset your password, which you can do by clicking the "I forgot my password" link on the sign-in page. If you see a "signed up with Google" or "signed up with Apple" error, you must use the same login method to create your account. Lastly, it's also possible you actually haven't created your account yet. In that case, click Get Started instead of Sign In. More detailed steps can be found below.

Lost or mistaken password

If you try to log in and see an error that says invalid username or password, follow these steps:

1. Click the Sign In button at the top of the screen, then click the Forgor password? link.

2. Enter your email in the pop-up box and click the Send Password Reset Link button.

3. Check your email for the link to reset your password.

Haven't created a Givebacks account

When you try to log in, if you see a red error, "User has not signed up," you need to create a Givebacks account. Follow these steps to get started.

1. Click the Get Started button to set up your account.

2. You can create an account with your email address or choose to log in through your Google or Apple account.

Using the wrong sign-in method

When you enter an email or password, you may see a red error message that says "User signed up via Google" or "User signed up via Apple." This means you created your account using the Continue with Google or Continue with Apple option.

To resolve this:

1. Click the Sign In link.

2. At the top of the login box, choose the Continue with Google button or the Continue with Apple button, depending on how you originally signed up or the error you received (Google or Apple).
