To remove an account code, you must first remove it from its assignments—that is, from the product, fundraiser, or point-of-sale transactions.
Deleting account codes
1. From the toolbar, select Financial Management > Account Codes.
2. Click the three dots next to the account code you want to delete and select Delete.
3. Select the appropriate radio button based on whether or not you want to remove the account code from historical transactions. Click Delete Code.
4. If you have products or fundraisers assigned to the account code, you must remove it from them before deleting it. See the steps below for removing the account code from products and fundraisers.
Removing account codes from products and memberships
1. From the toolbar, select Store > Products or Memberships > Membership Products. Select Edit Account Code.
2. Click Remove Code.
3. Confirm your desire to remove the code by clicking Remove Code.
Removing account codes from fundraisers
1. From the toolbar, select Fundraisers > All Campaigns. Select Edit Account Code.
2. Click Remove Code.
3. Confirm your desire to remove the code by clicking Remove Code.
Removing account codes from Product Fundraisers
1. From the toolbar, select Store > Product Fundraisers. Select Edit Account Code.
2. Click Remove Code.
3. Confirm your desire to remove the code by clicking Remove Code.
Removing account codes from Point of Sale (POS) Transactions
1. From the toolbar, select Store > Products. Click the three dots next to the New Product button. Select POS Store Settings.
2. Click Remove Code.
3. Confirm your desire to remove the code by clicking Remove Code.
