If your organization needs to pay state dues and you’d rather verify your bank account manually, you can do that during the payment process. Manual verification is completed through Stripe using micro-deposits to your checking account, and it may take 1 to 2 business days.
This option is helpful if you do not want to sign in to your bank instantly through Stripe, or if your bank does not appear as a supported instant connection.
Manually connecting bank account
From the left navigation, click Memberships, then click Remit Dues.
On the Remit Dues page, click Make a Payment.
Go to the Payment Method section and click Connect next to Connect Bank Account.
In the Stripe window, click into the Search box, type your bank’s name, and then press Enter on your keyboard. This step is required to move to the next screen where you can choose manual verification instead.
Click Manually verify instead. Stripe notes that this process may take 1 to 2 business days.
Note: Manual verification uses micro-deposits sent to your checking account. You may need to return later to confirm those deposit amounts before the bank account is fully verified.
Enter your routing number and account number for the checking account you want to use for dues payments.
Enter the same account number again in Confirm account number.
After all fields are complete, click Submit.
Good to know:
You must type a bank name in the search box and press Enter before the Manually verify instead option appears.
Manual verification is handled by Stripe, which Givebacks uses to securely connect bank accounts for dues payments. This is separate from your Givebacks Stripe account used for receiving payments from your store.
Once your bank account is verified, you can use it to complete your state dues payment.
