How do I create tickets?

Ticketed Event campaigns allow you to create as many ticket types as you need. Each ticket can have its own inventory, price, and sale dates. Tickets are set up in the Tickets section of the campaign setup.

Start a new Ticketed Event campaign by clicking New Campaign on the Manage Campaigns page. Select Ticketed Event. See How do I Build a Ticketed Event for more information.

Ticket Types

Start by creating ticket types. You can create as many ticket types as you need for your event. Each ticket can have its own inventory, price, and sale dates. (e.g., general admission ticket, early bird ticket, VIP ticket)

1. Click Add Ticket.

2. Complete the Add Ticket Type section and click Save.

  • Name - Enter the name of your ticket. (e.g., general admission ticket, early bird ticket, VIP ticket)

  • Ticket Type - Select Paid or Free.

  • Price - Enter the price for this ticket.

  • Available Quantity - Enter the quantity for this ticket type. This quantity will be available on each date the ticket is applied.

  • Unlimited - Check this box if there is an unlimited number of tickets.

  • Ticket Sales Start - Select the starting time for ticket sales:

    • When Event is Published

    • On Event Date - You will be prompted to select a time of day too.

    • X Days Before Event Date - Sales will start at 12:00 am on the start date.

  • Ticket Sales End - Select when ticket sales will end:

    • 1 Hour After Event Starts

    • On Event Date - You will be prompted to select a time of day too.

    • X Days Before Event Date - Sales will end at 12:00 am on the end date.

  • Additional Settings - Add a ticket description and fields to collect during purchase.

    • Ticket Description - Provide a clear description of the ticket type.

    • Add Additional Ticket Fields - Click Add. Enter the field name, select a field type, and choose whether the field is required or not.

3. From the Ticket Types table, you can:

  • Add Ticket Types

  • Adjust the Ticket Display Order

  • Click the three dots to Edit Ticket, Duplicate Ticket, or Delete Ticket.

Set Dates & Times

Create your event schedule by setting the dates and times that your event will occur. You can choose which tickets to sell on each event date.

1. Click Add an Event Date & Time.

2. Complete the Add Event Date section.

  • Create a title for this event date

  • Date - Select the date of the event.

  • Select a start time and end time

  • Select the ticket(s) that will be sold on this date

  • Additional Settings - Enter a description for the date.

3. From the Set Dates & Times table, you can:

  • Add Date

  • Click the three dots to select Edit Date, Duplicate Date, or Delete Date.
