With Givebacks' latest release, hubs have been replaced with lists. Within your site, any existing hubs have been converted to manual lists. You can now create dynamic lists based on filters like role, status, location, and more — a new and powerful way to segment your contacts.
What's New?
The new release includes improvements to the Communications tools. This consists of the ability to target your audience more precisely by sending communications to designated lists of recipients.
Admins can create two types of lists - manual and dynamic.
A Manual List is a fixed set of contacts that only updates when manually edited. You can add or delete people or allow join requests.
A Dynamic List is created based on set filters and automatically updates, keeping contacts relevant without manual edits.
What Changed?
Migration
Lists have replaced Hubs for managing contacts.
Contacts from eligible Hubs were moved to Lists.
Only Hubs with contact activity (contacts added or removed) in the last 2 years have been migrated, and they are now categorized as manual lists.
In an effort to keep your contact lists clean and manageable, contacts with invalid email addresses (e.g., bounced or malformed addresses) were not migrated.
Lists are not hierarchy-supporting and are flat rather than nested. However, if your Hubs had a hierarchy, to preserve context, the migrated Lists will include both the parent Hub name and the original Hub name in the list title.
Hub Admins
Hub-specific admin roles no longer exist. Permissions are now managed at the organization level.
Files & Photos
Hub folders remain, and any files within them are still intact.
Now, only Admins can access these folders.
You can still share public file links to be viewed by anyone with the link.
