👤 Enhanced Contact Management
Contacts table enhancements include new data columns, added filters, sorting options, bulk editing of property values, and the ability to add contacts to lists or remove them from the organization.
Contact imports include the ability to add Lists and properties when importing.
Contact creation is streamlined and now supports setting custom property values.
A refreshed Contact Profile page features tabbed navigation, persistent headers, account claim status, and visibility of purchase history.
A new Properties page lets you add and edit custom contact fields.
Note:
In an effort to keep your contact lists clean and manageable, contacts with invalid email addresses (e.g., bounced or malformed addresses) were not migrated.
Contact properties were migrated only if updated after July 1, 2023.
📋 Lists Replacing Hubs
Hubs have been replaced with Lists for a more powerful contact organization, utilizing both static and dynamic lists.
You now have the ability to create dynamic lists based on filters like role, status, location, membership status, and engagement activity. These lists update automatically, eliminating the need for manual updates.
Settings allow enabling Join Requests to allow supporters to opt-in to specific lists when allowed.
Notes:
Only active Hubs (with contact activity in the past 2 years) have been migrated.
Legacy Hub names are preserved in migrated List titles for clarity.
Lists are flat rather than nested. However, if your Hubs had a hierarchy, to preserve context, the migrated Lists will include both the parent Hub name and the original Hub name in the list title.
Hub-specific admin roles have been retired and replaced with organization-level permissions.
Hub folders are still intact, but only admins can access them. Public file links remain shareable.
📬 Communications: Simplified and Streamlined
A unified Messages page displays all sent emails, texts, and newsletters.
Improved metrics now show unique opens and clicks only.
Improved message creation, editing, and publishing.
Notes:
The organization's logo does not automatically appear in messages.
All messages show the sender's name.
🔒 Profile & Settings
Users can manage their contact profiles and list subscriptions in the Givebacks app or at givebacks.com/profile.
Join Requests (opt-in to lists) are visible when enabled.
💰 Pricing Update – Effective July 1, 2025
These product enhancements and others planned for fall are focused on providing you with a platform that gives you all the tools you need to successfully fulfill your mission. Building premium software requires innovation, investment, and resources. Like so many businesses, many of our operating costs have increased in the past couple of years.
As a result, on July 1, 2025, the Online Store and Point of Sale transaction fee will increase, Stripe will begin assessing a fee for disputed charges, and Givebacks’ annual subscription fee will increase as shown below:
